PHILADELPHIA — The Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA), which supports more than 2,500 health information management professionals and students, is partnering with Peirce College to expand access to flexible programs that prepare busy adults for professional advancement.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Peirce College, which will make it more affordable for our members to advance their education,” said PHIMA Executive Director Linda McLinden. RHIA. “This collaboration supports our commitment to lifelong learning, and will create new opportunities for our members to gain the skills and credentials necessary for jobs and professional growth.”
Peirce College is the first academic institution to establish a partnership with PHIMA.
“We are honored to partner with an organization that places such a high value on academic excellence, innovation, flexibility and personalized support,” said Dr. Rita Toliver-Roberts, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost at Peirce College. “As a leader in health information management education, our partnership with PHIMA is a great fit for Peirce.”
In addition to offering tuition discounts for PHIMA members, Peirce will review the association’s training and development programs for credit and alignment with Peirce degree programs. This will give members an additional way to save time and money.
