The employment of human service managers is expected to grow 13 percent through 2028 – much faster than the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The bureau states that this forecasted employment growth will be driven by increases in the elderly population and increased demand for substance abuse treatment and mental health and health-related services.
