Job Outlook
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of human service managers is expected to grow 17% through 2029 – much faster than the average for all occupations.
The bureau attributes much of the forecasted job growth to a larger need for services designed for the elderly, people with disabilities and those seeking
treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Serving these populations is expected to result in an increase in the need for social and community service managers.;
