The Certificate of Proficiency in Financial Operations prepares students for entry into the financial and securities industry with the option of preparing to sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
Earn This Certificate for Less
For a limited time, Peirce is offering special, discounted tuition of $350 per credit for new students who enroll in an undergraduate certificate. This is more than 40% less than our regular undergraduate tuition. Tuition for the Financial Operations certificate is $4,550 (does not include fees or books).
The 16-credit undergraduate certificate develops a knowledge base of customer service, software applications, foundational accounting and finance as well as securities focused portfolio selection and risk management, and investment strategies and portfolio analysis.
Upon completion of the certificate, students are encouraged to enroll in the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) preparation course. Passing the SIE exam demonstrates that you possess basic industry knowledge and the ability to pass additional FINRA exams, which are critical to professional advancement in the sector. SIE is the first exam required to sit for additional FINRA certifications, such as Series 6 and Series 7, which are required for professional advancement in the field of finance and securities.
Peirce awards 3 credits for passing the SIE exam.
This means you can earn 19 credits for the SIE credential and the undergraduate certificate in Financial Operations.
