Purpose

This scholarship was created by Lt. Col. Frank O’Bannon to honor his wife, Mildred Brown-O’Bannon, class of 1938.

Award

Annual award up to $1000. There are a limited number of scholarships available.

Students awarded the scholarship are required to write a thank you letter to the donor within three weeks of receiving the scholarship. Failure to do so many result in the loss of the scholarship. Additional information about this will be communicated to the student once the scholarship has been awarded.

Eligibility criteria:

• Peirce College degree candidate
• Have selected courses for the 2023-2024 school year
• Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or above
• File a 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid
• Demonstrate financial need
