The J. Linford Snyder ’33 Scholarship Fund (1988)

Purpose

In December 1988, Mr. J. Linford Snyder ’33 established a college scholarship fund with the purpose of providing scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need, academic success, and involvement in school or community activities.

Award

Award of up to $1500. There are a limited number of scholarships available.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Peirce College undergraduate student
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • File a 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid prior to submitting a scholarship application

Application Requirements

Interested students must submit all application materials by the deadline.

  • Completed Common Scholarship Application
  • Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation by the deadline.
  • Applicants must submit an essay by the deadline. The essay should highlight the applicant's involvement in Peirce College or non-college activities, such as current employment, church, or community organizations.
