Purpose
Dr. Arthur J. Lendo served as Peirce College's president from 1991 through 2009 and developed Peirce's acclaimed distance learning platform that allowed students to earn degrees entirely online. His legacy lives on today through this technology-focused
scholarship fund.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to students who have completed at least 60 credits at Peirce or at another institution; who are enrolled in any program of study; exemplify skills and characteristics of technology and innovation;
demonstrate strong academic performance; and are good citizens.
Award
Annual award of up to $1500. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
Eligibility criteria:
- Peirce College undergraduate student
- Completed at least sixty (60) credit hours at the College or at other accredited institutions
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
Application Requirements
Interested students must submit all application materials by the deadline.
- Completed Common Scholarship Application
- Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation evidencing good citizenship by the deadline.
- Applicants must also submit a brief essay highlighting how he/she has used technology innovatively in a workplace or community setting.
