Application and Eligibility Information
There are four essential elements of the Parenting Pathways Program at Peirce, providing support for parenting students, especially those who are close to completing a credential. Services include:
- Scholarships for assistance with their last course(s)
- Access to a parent-specific emergency grant fund
- A grocery store stipend to help with food costs
- Events, workshops, and more dedicated to helping students balance their education and parenting responsibilities
The first step to accessing these resources is to complete an application to determine eligibility. This application can be found on the my.peirce.edu portal, on the Parent Resource Center tab. Once
eligibility has been determined, a Peirce Advisor will contact applicants about next steps.
*This application is only available for students enrolled at Peirce College. If you would like to speak with someone about enrolling and taking advantage of the Parent Pathways Program, please contact our Admissions team at admissions@peirce.edu.
Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the program:
- Be currently enrolled or readmitted to Peirce College and close to completing their undergraduate credential (within 15 credits of completing a certificate, AS, or BS)
- Have a Peirce College Career GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Currently parenting a minor child(ren)
- Reside in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Completed a 2024-2025 FAFSA (even if not utilizing Federal or PHEAA financial aid programs)
If students are unsure if they meet the above criteria, or unsure if they are close enough to completing a credential, please complete the application and an advisor will be in touch to discuss further.
