The primary goal of Peirce College's Healthcare Administration program is to prepare healthcare practitioners for leadership roles in various industry areas. Our students utilize a multitude of skills to implement an organizational improvement
and change initiative within a healthcare organization and conduct action research on best practices in healthcare administration.
Peirce’s MS in Healthcare Administration (MSHCA) will equip you with the skills and credentials you need to take advantage of senior level opportunities. We developed this program in collaboration with some of the region’s top healthcare employers, so you can be confident that what you learn will be market-relevant and highly valuable in the workplace.
As an MSHCA student, you’ll study practical topics like Healthcare Law and Compliance, Risk Management and Insurance, Healthcare Informatics and Information Technology and Strategic Management and Finance. After graduation, you’ll be ready to analyze healthcare policies, develop solutions for delivering patient care, and strategically manage the financial and business needs of your employer.
Graduates of our master's in Healthcare Administration degree program are ready for leadership roles in large healthcare systems, ambulatory-care facilities, insurance companies and more.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs for Medical and Health Service Managers are expected to grow by 32% through 2029 and pay a median salary of more than $100,000. And with more than 10,000 healthcare employers in the region, Philadelphia is a great place to find healthcare jobs at all levels, particularly leadership positions.
These aren't just more jobs, either – these are better-paying jobs. Master's degree graduates can earn $12,000 per year more than those who hold just a bachelor's degree.
Courses are available in online and hybrid formats, and the program can be completed in just two years while taking only one course per session.
