Thank You for Spreading Holiday Cheer!
Buddy the Elf said that, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”
But at Peirce College, we decided it was best to save everyone from the sound of us singing (You’re welcome). Instead, we’ve helped spread holiday cheer in a different way – by supporting others. We want to thank our entire Peirce family for all the impact giving you’ve done with us throughout 2016, especially over the past few weeks. Here’s a look at all the ways we’ve been giving back during this Season of Giving:
- We had a very successful Veteran’s Day drive thanks to the entire Peirce community. We collected six full boxes of donations, which included items such as hygiene products, socks, gloves, and much more. We gifted these goods to the Veterans Multi-Service Center.
- Our Peirce family members also donated to the Youth Action Toy Drive. This is our 11th year collaborating with them to collect gifts for families in the Philadelphia area. This time around, we were able to donate over 65 toys and books, which have been given to 16 families in need.
- Finally, for the seventh season in a row, the Peirce community collected money to donate to the Thomas May Peirce Elementary School. We raised $835.00, which went towards winter coats, hats, and gloves for children in need.
Thank you to everyone who helped make all these contributions possible. We are so proud to have joined you in helping those who could benefit from our support. We hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season!
