PLAN FOR SUCCESS: Numerous resources at
The College can help you find the right internship.

Now more than ever, internships are proving to be the critical key to students finding their dream job. So, it’s critically important to secure an internship that allows you to bring your A-game to work each day and successfully find a position where you can excel. Kevin Fink, 26, is a Peirce student who has done just that, and was rewarded by being offered a job as a sales assistant at Allied Wire & Cable after only a month at his internship.

Kevin’s employer noticed the positive attitude and work ethic Kevin brought to the company, and when it came time to fill a position within the company, they looked to Kevin first, as opposed to advertising the job through outside sources.

Kevin’s story was highlighted in Tuesday’s Philadelphia Inquirer in an article about the Main Line Chamber of Commerce’s  Talent and Education Network, an organization that encourages using internships as a way to keep young Philadelphia grads in the area. Read the full story here.

Congratulations Kevin and best of luck in your future endeavors!
