Startup Corps program highlighted in Philadelphia Inquirer

We recently shared some highlights from our visit to the Science Leadership Academy to meet with students participating in the Startup Corps program, the group for which Peirce College serves as educational sponsor.

We were excited to open up Tuesday’s Philadelphia Inquirer to see a feature story by Staff Writer Mohana Ravindranath that highlights these inspiring students and the Startup Corps program. Check out the story on Philly.com:

The committment and creativity of Startup Corps co-founders Rich Sedmak and Christian Kunkel, the entrepreneurship concept that drives the program, and the passion of the students tells a great story about the importance of fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and encouraging students to be active, engaged participants in their own education. Peirce College is proud to support the program as sponsors and mentors.

We can’t wait to see the outcome of the student projects when they present their business plans at Peirce during the Startup Corps graduation hosted on campus on May 10!
